Building Table of Tables (ToT) in RPE
A lot of times I’m asked if it’s possible to export the embedded tables from the DNG artifacts and to add them in the ToT (Table of Tables) section in WORD. My answer is always YES, it’s possible. RPE as a standalone tool or RRDG used in the DNG context can export DNG tables and add them in the ToT in the generated document.
How can we do this? We have multiple options and I’ll try to cover 2 of them and highlight the pros and cons for each of them.

Option 1: Project Area or Component Template How to: In the current project go to Project or Component Properties > Templates Create New Click on data which you want to copy (if you click on Artifact then all artifact will be part of the template Create a new project area or component and use a template for creation (template must be downloaded and uploaded if you are porting to a new server) Advantages: Works also for porting to a new server Links between artifacts are kept project area properties are automatically saved Are links within the project area/component are kept
This short blog aims to describe for customers using IBM Tokens their options for reporting different license usage. This is required for several purposes like: check which licenses have been used over time check how full is the token used (do you need more or fewer licenses in the future?) which department uses the licenses (for departmental cross-charging)
