As mentioned in the article Monitoring of IBM ELM, monitoring is the basis and integral part of any system. Monitoring brings a better overview of the data, which will enable a faster reaction to problems that arise. By being our customer and also using the Jazz platform, you have the opportunity to use our monitoring solution, which we have extended to include monitoring of DB2 databases.

Since the use of IBM ELM (Jazz platform) also requires a database server, monitoring of the database system should also be part of the monitoring. You can choose from 3 vendors recommended for use with IBM ELM:
- IBM DB2
- Oracle
- MS SQL

The main advantage of the DB2 management console is that you can monitor DB2 databases for on-premises and cloud environments.
